Go Deep

 (Eph. 3:20-21)

Take time to read the following passages, asking God to speak his truth to you: Colossians 1:9-14; Philippians 1:9-11; Ephesians 1:17-21; Ephesians 3:16-21. List every request you notice.

Of the requests listed, which is most important right now to your life? To California Road Missionary Church’s life.

If God answered this most important request in your life, how might your situation be different? How might you be different?

If God answered the request you chose for our church, how might Cal Road be different?

Do you think God will exercise his power differently if we pray than he will if we don’t?

If the future of California Road Missionary Church depended on how you pray, would it be a bright future?

We are right now living through a time of great uncertainty. Many people are fearful about the future. Knowing this, what are some ways we can pray for each other and for the church?

Paul refers to God as “the One who is able.” In Romans 16:25, what is God able to do? Why is this important?

In Jude 1:24, what is God able to do? Is this important to you? Why?

In Ephesians 3:20, God’s ability to do more than we can ask or think is already at work “within” or “among” us. How has God’s power been at work in you? How has it been at work in our church?

Verse 21: Why do you think Paul so uncharacteristically places the church before Christ in the word order of this verse?

Name some ways the church might bring glory to God, per Ephesians 3:21. Will you pray for this to happen at California Road?
